Thank you all so much for participating in the giveaway. I really appreciate all of your comments and feedback.
I am definitely working on tutorials for some of my projects. I appreciate your patience as family, project deadlines, and life sometimes takes priority over writing/videotaping tutorials. Stay tuned.
And the winner is……
Sun-n-Moon Arts!, Congratulations! Please message me via Facebook messenger with your address information.
I designed and created this project for the September Graphic 45 Challenge, #G45PopUp. The gorgeous papers in the Tropical Travelogue collection brings the spirit of Hawaii and a tropical paradise, and thus my inspiration for the ukulele. The project is also an homage to the close of summer.
The overall project is approximately 13” H and 1 ½” wide. It features a mini-mini album, and of course, the popup element for the challenge.
Now it’s time for the Giveaway! To enter the giveaway do the following:
Add a comment on my YouTube channel and let me know which project is your favorite, and if you would like to see a full tutorial of that project.
When I started this journey several years ago, I wanted to create a blog to share what inspires me and share my designs to inspire others. I set small goals and milestones to keep me motivated and keep me on track to make that dream come true.
Today, I was so excited to receive a 100 Subscribers congratulations from YouTube.
This milestone achievement is encouraging. It lets me know that I’ve inspired you to subscribe to my channel, and you like my designs. Thanks to all of you! And, thanks for your continued support.
GIVEAWAY – I will be uploading a YouTube video for you to have a chance to win a prize in honor of this milestone. Stay tuned.
Super exited to share with you my latest project design. I am calling this a flight bag because my inspiration came from the lovely paper collection “Flight 2715” from Paper Phenomenon. Kathy King and DeeDee Catron really out did themselves with this beautiful collection.
The flight bag I designed features 360-degree swivel wheels, and pullup luggage handle, coordinating mini album, and gusseted accordion pockets on the front and back.
The bag is constructed of chipboard and Kraftex. I stitched the zipper using a mini craft sewing machine from Dressmaker. The buckle hardware is from Tim Holtz and the luggage tag is cut file from Silhouette. The “bling” on the flight bag is an assortment from my jewelry making supplies.
The mini album measures 6.5” x 8” with a 1.5” spine and is a gatefold design. The album features six pocket pages with photo mats and lots of places for photos, keepsakes, and memorabilia.
You can find a list of some of the resources used in this project below.
We now live in a two-story home. I wanted to create a container to bring items up or down the stairs (husband request :).
I found these galvanized buckets with handle cutouts, at Michael’s at a 70% discount (roughly $7.50 each). I base coated the buckets in black chalk paint then used vinyl (from my own supplies) and printable vinyl from Silhouette Design Store to print the lettering and flowers (print and cut file #11704).
I am making two, each with the “Going Up and Coming Down”. That way there will be a rotation each time a bucket goes up or down.
