Super exited to share with you my latest project design. I am calling this a flight bag because my inspiration came from the lovely paper collection “Flight 2715” from Paper Phenomenon. Kathy King and DeeDee Catron really out did themselves with this beautiful collection.
The flight bag I designed features 360-degree swivel wheels, and pullup luggage handle, coordinating mini album, and gusseted accordion pockets on the front and back.
The bag is constructed of chipboard and Kraftex. I stitched the zipper using a mini craft sewing machine from Dressmaker. The buckle hardware is from Tim Holtz and the luggage tag is cut file from Silhouette. The “bling” on the flight bag is an assortment from my jewelry making supplies.
The mini album measures 6.5” x 8” with a 1.5” spine and is a gatefold design. The album features six pocket pages with photo mats and lots of places for photos, keepsakes, and memorabilia.
You can find a list of some of the resources used in this project below.
