Hello Everyone! I hope you are safe and well. I pray, those who are ill or have suffered a loss are comforted by the memories of your loved one, or are in the safe care of an exceptional health care professional.
It’s been some time since my last post. What have I been doing? Well, I stopped my usual maker/designer/crafter activities.
Like many of you wonderful and generous makers, I’ve been making masks to donate.

Early in February during my regular daily chats with my sister Mary, we wanted to make masks for our family members. We had a sense of need given all that we were hearing about Cornovirus (now called COVID-19). The question was, “What could we do to protect our family?”
Well, masks were an easy match for use because we both have been sewing for years, since our childhood. From making our own clothes, to being a seamstress for others, making home decor items, and clothing for our families. This also meant we could use the endless supply of fabric we accumulated and sewing supplies! Many thanks to my sister for donating fabric to my mask making effort.
As mask making slows down, I will pick up where I left off earlier this year and finish projects started and start new projects from designs I have created.
I wish you all well and safe.
