This is the third pendant I designed with @graphic45 papers. I love the rich colors and graphics in their paper lines.
I designed this 1″ square pendant with my favorite motif from the collection. I used Glossy Accents to put an enamel look on the pendant and finished the pendant off with ball chain from Tim Holtz and hand beaded finishes I created.
I designed this decor piece as a photo holder. I used 2” X 4” scraps of Playtime Past, Time to Flourish, Bird Song, and Proper Gentleman. It measures 3.75″ X 4.50″.
There are twenty-four wedges grouped in three sets to form the photo holder. I finished off the decor piece with a handmade tassel, some metal accent pieces, distressed edges, and a wood base.
Just completed a quick denim canvas project using the fun summer inspired paper collection from Carta Bella, Summer Lovin’.
I managed to capture my sweet niece Jinji, just at the right time and angle!
Using an ArtDistrict stretched denim 11” x 14” canvas as by base, I sprayed a diluted mixture of bleach and water all over the canvas and set it out to dry. I then layered Liquitex gesso and blended fibers over the canvas and finished everything off with Prima Marketing Inc/Finnabair Opal Magic in Blue Violet and Teal Pink.
Floral pieces are from S.E.I. Crafts and my flower stash, centers for the flowers are from Queen and Company.
My thoughts were fixed on family this week. I designed and created a family inspired photo album using Carta Bella’s “Our Family” by Carina Gardner. This collection definitely sets the theme to celebrate all members of the family and family life together. The gorgeous 12” X 12” double-sided papers, coordinating sticker sheet and cut-a-parts expand creative possibilities for this collection.
The album I designed features a unique use of triangles which provide clever pockets for photos, journal cards, and so much more! The 8” X 8 ½” album format allows for full size 4” X 6” and 5” X 7” photos.
With May and Mother’s Day just around the corner, I wanted to create a floral photo display that would be timeless. For this project, I designed a potted “steampunk” flower. I was inspired by the beautiful paper collection “Time is an Illusion” by @Stamperia.
This design came together using a wide range of mixed materials, from metal, to paper, paints, pastes, and recycled items. Cardstock was used for the flower petals, a ®Celebrate Treat Cup Set was used for the pot, a stem from a silk plant – for the flower stem, styrofoam ball for the flower base, and lots of ®Liquitex Gesso and Blended Fibers for texture. It all comes to life with Prima Marketing Inc. and Finnabair ®Rust Effect Paste, Patina Effect Paste, and Opal Magic.
