#PrimaDTCall – 18″ x 24″ Canvas Layout

I created this this 18″ X 24″ canvas using “Golden Coast” from Prima Marketing Inc.

I applied Finnabair’s ArtBasics Heavy Gesso, then a few layers of Finnabair’s Opal Magic “Unicorn” colors. The edges of the canvas was distressed with “Frayed Burlap” Distress Oxide from Tim Holtz.
I used a selection of the florals from the “Golden Coast” collection and a bit of the greenery from the “Moon Child” collection.

I took a bit of artistic license and used the “dream” cut-a-part and added my own phase at the bottom of the canvas. I thought this best describes my talented sister-in-law Kathy and her photography business.
I fussy cut the hot air balloon from the paper collection, then cut a duplicate piece of the basket and flowers, then popped that piece up with foam squares for a three-dimensional look. I repeat this for the “dream” cut-a-part.
The last elements are the doilies, also distressed with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide, and jute twine made into circles of various sizes.

The entire layout is attached to the canvas with foam tape.

#PrimaDTCall – Tassel Pendant

I managed to complete one more project submission for Prima Marketing’s design team call.

I am definitely in love with this color palette of paints from Prima. I designed this pendant using a Prima mould and paper clay, some beads from my bead collection, and a hand made tassel created by using a selection of threads from my sewing supplies.

I really love the way this pendent turned out. A suede cord, ribbon (I showcased the pendant with ribbon from Melissa Frances), or a chain.

#PrimaDTCall Submission – Canvas Design featuring “Moon Child” by Prima

I created this entry for the Prima Marketing Inc. Design Team Call. I used a variety of Prima paints and a collection of “Moon Child” flowers to create this canvas design featuring my niece (now a teenager).

The canvas was base coated with Liquitex Mars Black and given texture with Finnabair Art Stones.

I used Prima Paper Clay and the “Object Labels I” mould with 49 and Market “The Dusty Attic” to round out some additional design elements.

#PrimaDTCall – Golden Coast Photo Display Box

I designed and created this project for the #PrimaDTCall. The project will be submitted to Prima Marketing Inc’s Design Team Call. I chose Prima’s beautiful “Golden Coast” paper collection and Say It in Crystals coordinating embellishments.

I used a thrifted wooden box, Prima’s Venetian Shutter, and the journaling cards from the paper collection.

I repurposed a piece of chicken wire for texture and interest on the inside lid of the box. I fussy cut a seahorse from the designer paper and added Glossy Accents for an enamel-look. Using a variety of Prima paints, Gesso, and pastes, I created the ocean theme on the box bottom and lid. I finished off the box elements with a starfish, sponge, and shells from my craft supplies.
