Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas – Swivel Display Box

A while back a previewed my latest holiday project. I am finally getting around to posting the walk through video. Been busy designing new projects and doing some bead work.

I simply love this project design! It is such a unique way to display photos, keepsakes, holiday treats, and so much more!

Once again, I used the very elegant and festive holiday paper collection “Twelve Days of Christmas” from Graphic 45. I used the rich paint color “Red Wine” from Art Alchemy, and gold metallic paint from Liquitex. Elizabeth Craft Design dies add three dimensional holiday embellishments to finish of this project.

I hope you enjoy this video walk through. You can follow me on my social media accounts, blog, YouTube channel,Β  and Etsy Store through the link at the end of the video.

Thanks for watching.

Returning from Vacation – First Design Project Preview

Getting back to paper crafting after returning from vacation. I hope everyone joined their vacation 😎and look forward to reviewing what I missed on the posts.
Just finished this project design using the festive holiday collection “Twelve Days of Christmas” from Graphic 45.
I look forward to sharing a full video walk through on this project in the coming days, so stay tuned on my YouTube channel or blog.

Vacation

Been on vacation this week. Good time to be with friends and family. Time to design new projects and find inspiration.

Must admit, looking forward to returning home to complete a design project I started before we left on our Kauai adventure.🌺🌴

Hope your summer is filled with adventure, family and friends.

#G45TravelJournal – Tropical Travelogue Mini Journal

I designed and created this mini travel journal for this month’s Graphic 45 Challenge, #G45TravelJournal. I also made the travel journal for a trip I will be taking in a few days to the islands. Perfect timing, right?

I used the oh so tropical!, Tropical Travelogue paper collection from Graphic 45. I had previously designed a mini album for our first island vacation with this collection and had a few bits left to put this travel journal together.

The journal is approximately 4.25″ X 6.25″ and is gatefold style.

The base for the journal is made of Kratex. Love this product! Very durable and great for the journal as it will be opened and closed many times.

Christmas in July Project Design

It’s the last day of July and I managed to get a “Christmas in July” project designed and completed! July has been a busy month for me, so I am happy to have this project completed.

IMG-1758

I used a galvanized Christmas countdown calendar I purchased about a year ago at my local Michael’s store. It was at a clearance price too!

For this project design, I used Graphic 45’s “Twelve Days of Christmas” Deluxe Collector’s Edition paper collection. I use a few sheets of the designer paper to cover the match boxes, some of the stickers and chipboard elements.

I applied gesso (Prima Marketing Inc), and painted the entire galvanized piece with “Red Wine” Metallique from Prima Marketing Inc/Finnabair/Art Alchemy.

The greenery and pinecones are from a die set by Elizabeth Craft Designs #1091 – Garden Note – White Pine Pinecone & Bough.
