PhotoPlay “Man Card” Mini Album

Father’s Day is quickly approaching and what better way to jump start a design project!

For this design project, I created a 5.5” X 8.5” mini album inspired by the very dapper “Man Card” paper collection from @photoplaypaper. This collection certainly inspires a masculine themed project with a bit of gentlemanly class and whimsy.

The album features lots of pockets and tuck spots which highlight the many cut-a-parts and sticker elements from the collection. A five-page pocket album design also features two large tags that pullout from the top and sides of each pocket page. To tie in the “dapper” look in the papers, I styled a menswear looking vest pocket on the inside cover. With the addition of buttons and some chain details completing the look, it is a good opening page for the album.

Other features include a full pullout of 5 photo mats (10 including the other side) in the back of the album, a multi-functional belly band, and metal hardware closure.

#G45LightSide – Imagine Rotating Desk Caddy

Sharing another Graphic 45 challenge project #G45LightSide. This time I designed and created a rotating desk caddy. I used a thrifted guest towel holder, courtesy of my sister Mary :).

The desk caddy measures 13″ tall with about a 5″ diameter base. Though it is not very large, with the treat cups and rotating base, it provides plenty of accessibility to tools, “treats”- which every crafter needs ;), or a place to put small pieces of scrap paper.

I hope you enjoy this short video walk through and are inspired to create your own rotating desk caddy.

Greeting Card File

I made the base for these card files a long time ago but never finished it🤭😳😑. Work got in the way.😉

However, this week is about finishing unfinished projects. Love how this one turned out!

Lori Whitlock’s “3 A2 Magazine Holder w/Base” (#123191).

I made the file labels with (Corona 4 Typewriter font), and the Celebrations and Rememberances w/ Dream State font. I offset these titles and popped them up w/ foam squares to make them stand out.

I used the Silhouette “print and cut” feature to save time on file labels and titles.

49 And Market Paper Goods “Captured Adventures” Mini Album

Just a few preview photos of my upcoming video walk through for the mini album I designed and created using the monochromatic themed paper collection “Captured Adventures” from 49 and Market Paper Goods.

I truly love the papers (a bit thicker than normal cardstock), laser elements, and cut-a-parts featured in this collection.

I incorporated a different way to attach an album spine, added lots of window elements, pockets, tuck spots, and a fun fold out on the front and back inside covers.

Stay tuned to this blog and my YouTube channel to see more of this project design!
